Collaboration is the cornerstone of successful projects and Commented empowers you with the ability to add and manage users effortlessly. Whether you're working on a website, a design, or a project, having the right team members on board is crucial. In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of adding and managing users on Commented, ensuring smooth communication, and efficient access control.
Adding Users
Step 1: Navigate to a Workspace or Project
Log in to your Commented account and select the appropriate workspace where you want to add users.
You may also add users to a specific project, rather than to a workspace. For this, select the related project where you want to add users.
Step 2: Invite Collaborators
Click on the "People" button. Enter the email addresses of the team members you want to invite.
Step 3: Send Invitations
After entering the email addresses, click "Add". An email will be sent to each user with an invitation link to join that particular workspace. They can accept the invitation by clicking the link.
Managing Users
User List: In the "People" section, you'll see a list of all the users associated with the workspace. This list will display their names, roles, and email addresses.
Removing Users: If a user's involvement in the project changes, you can remove them from the workspace. Locate the "Remove from Project" option next to the user's name, confirm the action, and they will no longer have access to that workspace.
Benefits of User Management
Efficient Collaboration: Adding users allows you to bring the right people into the conversation, ensuring a focused and efficient collaboration environment.
Access Control: Assigning roles ensures that each team member has access to the appropriate tools and information, maintaining project security.
Customized Engagement: User roles enable team members to engage at a level that aligns with their expertise, contributing meaningfully to the project's success.
Easy Adaptability: As your project evolves, you can easily adjust user roles to match changing responsibilities and project needs.
